Colorado State University Fort Collins has developed Research Academies through the Office for Undergraduate Research and Artistry. The research academies offer undergraduates the opportunity to work with faculty or industry representatives. The academies include the Academy of Cultural Research Scholars, Rocky Mountain Sustainability and Science Network Summer Academy, and the Academy of Historical Research Scholars. All students can participate in programs at the Institute for Entrepreneurship including the New Economy Venture Accelerator, The Immersion Lab, and the CSU Business Advancement Fund. The College of Engineering hires undergraduates in laboratories. The President’s Leadership Program is a three year fourteen credit leadership development experience for undergraduates that includes retreats, service projects, and internships. Students can participate in a leadership exchange program with Mexico. Students can gain hands-on experience as research assistants at the Center for the Study of Crime and Justice.
